Scientific meeting of Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia with scientists and doctors of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw on 23.11.2022

At the invitation of the Director for Scientific Affairs of the WIM, Col. Prof. Dr. Marek Rękas, we had the opportunity to meet with scientists and doctors of the WIM-PIB at the Military Medical Institute – National Research Institute. The subject of the meeting was the establishment of scientific cooperation between Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia and WIM-PIB. In the first part of the meeting, we presented the scientific and implementation activities carried out by the Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia, in the following areas: projects in the field of regenerative medicine, the use of liposome technology in targeted therapies on the example of a drug against acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and against the SARS-CoV-2 virus, the practical use of telemedicine based on the projects carried out at the Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia, and the quality standards implemented at the MPC (ISO 17025, GLP, GMP). After the presentation, the meeting participants moved on to a substantive discussion of potential opportunities for joint research and implementation projects.

We would like to thank the Director very much for inviting Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia to scientific cooperation with the Military Medical Institute – National Research Institute. We hope that yesterday’s meeting will result in joint interesting research and implementation projects that we will be able to carry out together.
