The Medical Laboratory of the Silesian Park of Medical Technologies Kardio-Med Silesia conducts genetic tests based on the RT-PCR method. Tests for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in patient samples are performed by professional personnel. We collaborate with healthcare entities and organizations with aim to verify doubt results from antigen or PCR tests.

The Medical Laboratory KMS is one of the five laboratories in Poland with an Accreditation Certificate issued by the Polish Centre for Accreditation, confirming compliance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-02 standard. As part of our accreditation, we perform tests for the presence of:

• SARS-CoV-2 genetic material using the RT-PCR method
• SARS-CoV-2 genetic material with a rapid RT-PCR genetic test
• IgG antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 using the chemiluminescence method
