RH ROT – NCBiR

The main objective of the project RH-ROT – NCBiR is to induce growth in the usage of mechanical circulatory suport system in treating heart failure in Poland, which will be possible thanks to the development and implementation of: innovative technology of long-term circulatory suport with implanted centrifugal pumps and advanced methods of medical treatment increasing safety and effectiveness of using long-term circulatory suport. The project consists of:
Implementation of the innovative centrifugal pump supporting circulatory system in long-term – the original Polish system ReligaHeart ROT – into pilot production and clinical practice;
Development and implementation of nationwide system of remote monitoring of out-patients with implanted LVAD-type centrifugal pumps (for a variety of currently available circulatory support devices) into clinical practice;
Development and implementation of a new model of complex cardiovascular rehabilitation for in- and out-patients with implanted LVAD-type centrifugal pumps (remote tele-rehabilitation and monitoring for out-patients).
