Telemedicine

Since January 2017, a Telemonitoring Centre has been launched at the Silesian Park of Medical Technology, where paramedics/doctors will be based to watch over the safety of monitored Patients. The Telemonitoring Centre was set up, among other things, for the implementation of the NOMED-AF project, whose leader is the Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia. The project involves the remote monitoring of 3,000 patients, who will receive daily data recording ECGs, which will first (initially) be analysed by advanced algorithms and then by doctors.

Using innovative Internet and telecommunications technologies, a place has been created where patients can receive medical consultations. Using devices that monitor the patient’s condition remotely connected to the IT platform, patients will be under constant monitoring, which will significantly increase safety and improve the quality of life for patients (Infoline + 48 (32) 70 503 06). The infrastructure of the Telemedical Centre will be successively used for the implementation of further research and development projects carried out with the participation of the Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia.
