Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia at the conference “IT systems for medicine”

On 29-30.11.2022 in Wisla takes place the conference: “IT systems for medicine”. Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia were invited to share their experience in the implementation and deployment of telemedicine projects implemented by our Unit together with our scientific and business partners in a panel discussion: “Grant – Opportunity or Trouble”. The panel included:

  • Agnieszka Sulkowska – Director of the Mazovian Provincial Medical Center – Management of the medical unit
  • Ireneusz Kowalski – Project Manager of eCareMed – Silesian platform for electronic medical records and e-services
  • Adam Konka – Chairman of Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia – Innovative Helthcare and clinical research in telemedicine projects
  • Wojciech Górnik – Director of the Mazovian Neuropsychiatry Center – Effective project management

As part of the panel, the Chairman of Silesian Park of Medical Technology Kardio-Med Silesia discussed the benefits to 500 residents of the Silesian region of the launch and implementation of the pilot program under ROP 9.2.6 WSL: “Telemedicine services for people with implantable high-energy devices ICD and CRT-D” (acronym HED). We hope that the benefits that flow from the launch of this project will be used by: The Ministry of Health, AOTMiT and the National Health Fund (NHF) are hoping to implement from next year a telemedicine service paid for by the public payer for patients with heart failure who have a high-energy device implanted.
