Silesian Park of Medical Technologies Kardio-Med Silesia in Zabrze, together with Technology Partner, GABOS SOFTWARE Sp. z o. o., has been implementing for 12 months a pilot project entitled. “Telemedicine services for patients with implantable high-energy ICD and CRT-D devices”.

The aim of the project is to increase access to high-quality health services for 500 people with heart failure living in the Silesian province by introducing telemedicine services and using them in non-hospital settings.

The project is co-financed with funds obtained from the Office of Marshal the Silesian Voivodeship under ROP 9.2.6 WSL.

Participation in the project for 500 residents of the Silesian region is completely free of charge.

This is currently the only project of its kind in Poland, which provides the possibility of monitoring by a single telemedicine platform simultaneously patients equipped with implantable devices from all suppliers of such devices in Poland.

We hope that in the near future we will be able to expand the number of patients monitored by the Telemedical Center in Kardio-Med Silesia. According to the decision of the Ministry of Health, in 2023 telemonitoring of people with implantable devices will be included in the basket of guaranteed services of the National Health Fund.
